After the registration period ends, it is possible to complete the training program in a flexible format. SESSIONS: Eight classes. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.   • GOALS

  • This Specialization Course aims to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage the fire protection systems and facilities under their responsibility within their role as a security director. The specific objectives of this Specialization Course are as follows:
  • To introduce students to the importance of fire protection within the duties of a security director.
  • To delve into the regulatory framework governing fire protection in Spain, equipping professionals with the ability to apply it to the facilities where they serve as security director.
  • To analyze the main causes and risks of fire, as well as the principal methods for their assessment.
  • To define the main technologies and design criteria for active fire protection systems.
  • To define the main technologies and design criteria for passive fire protection systems.
  • To determine the main aspects of commissioning and maintaining fire protection systems, including managing the maintenance contract for the facilities where the student serves as security director.
  • METHODOLOGY AND EVALUATION

  • The methodology for work and study is entirely online, allowing students to take advantage of virtual classes and progress at their own pace through the virtual platform.
  • Training is delivered via the ESSIIF virtual platform.
  • The Specialization Course consists of materials edited and created exclusively by professionals in each subject area. These professionals will develop each topic by introducing fundamental theoretical concepts while incorporating the necessary practical design aspects.
  • One of the main components of this training program is the live masterclasses delivered via the video conferencing platform. These classes facilitate learning through the contributions of expert instructors in each subject.
  • You will be able to delve deeper into the concepts developed during the training program through individualized tutoring sessions with the program's instructors.
  • Students will tackle real-world case studies that will allow them to develop specific skills and competencies. Students will have access to a software license throughout the course. Evaluation will be based on the submission of a practical case study (60%), a multiple-choice test (30%), and participation in the forum (10%).

The risk of fire in facilities. 3.1 Risk-based management. 3.2 Techniques and methods for risk analysis. 3.3 Fire risk in liquids, gases, and pressure vessels. 3.4 Electrical fire risk. 3.5 Fire risk in manufacturing industries. 3.6 Fire risk in power generation plants. 3.7 Fire risk in artistic and monumental heritage sites. 3.8 Fire risk in unique buildings. 3.9 Emerging risks.     DEGREES AND CERTIFICATES

  • Upon completion of the program, you will receive two certifications issued by two different entities:
