  • Security engineers and designers from consulting firms, installation companies, engineering firms, manufacturing and distribution companies, etc.
  • Technical personnel involved in the installation and maintenance of security systems.
  • Technical professionals in the engineering and architecture sectors, specializing in project development or construction supervision and management, who wish to delve deeper into the area of security.
  • Members of law enforcement agencies (Local Police, National Police, Civil Guard, etc.) who require greater knowledge and depth in these systems due to their relationship with private security.
  • Public administration personnel responsible for the management and evaluation of security in public buildings.
  • Security directors and managers who require greater specialization in intrusion detection systems.
  • Technical professionals in the insurance and claims assessment sectors.
  • Recent graduates or students in their final years of study who wish to begin their professional career in the security sector.
  • GOALS

  • This training program aims to provide students with comprehensive and qualified training in intrusion detection and security systems, covering their design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. The specific objectives of this program are as follows:
  • To introduce students to the main operational and regulatory aspects related to security systems in general and intrusion detection and security systems in particular.
  • To analyze the main aspects of the functioning, architecture, and operation of intrusion detection and security systems, including their interaction with other security systems.
  • To develop the fundamental aspects of intrusion detection and security system design, using the criteria of UNE-CLC/TS 50131-7 as a reference.
  • To explore the importance of planning the installation of intrusion detection and security systems.
  • To develop all the key aspects of commissioning, documentation, testing, inspections, maintenance, etc., of intrusion detection and security systems.
  • To apply all the acquired knowledge to various real-world case studies.
  • METHODOLOGY AND EVALUATION

  • The methodology for work and study is entirely online, allowing students to take advantage of virtual classes and progress at their own pace through the virtual platform. One of the main pillars of this training program is the live masterclasses delivered via the ESSIIF online learning platform. These classes facilitate learning through the contributions of expert instructors in each subject. The specialization course comprises materials edited and created exclusively by professionals in each subject area. These professionals will develop each topic by introducing fundamental theoretical concepts while grounding them in the necessary practical design aspects. You will be able to delve deeper into the concepts developed during the training program through individualized tutoring sessions with the program's instructors. Students will tackle real-world case studies that will allow them to develop specific skills and competencies. This is a valuable tool for ensuring student progress and development, enabling them to acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to undertake real-world security projects.
  • The evaluation will be carried out through the delivery of a practical case to solve (60%), the performance of theoretical-practical tests of test type (30%) and participation in forums (10%).
